Customs Officers in English speaking countries will tell you the legal/illegal Chinese workers in other countries are the most likely group to hire other Chinese illegally.

Even in my home country, a few years ago Chinese students tried to set themselves up as pimps to fund their education, and hire/blackmail/coerce other Chinese students into prostitution.
they were all deported.

The Chinese had been imported unlawfully via containers into Liverpool and were hired out through local criminal agents of international Chinese Triads.
Most of the victims were previously employed as farmers, and two were fishermen.
This is a matter of public record.

I was taken aback as I did not see her as a keep fit enthusiast. I suspect am guilty of stereotyping her there as keep fit is not high on list of folks in Asia! I see it is changing or folks are pretending to be interested in it.......

Oh she was never an ex. Her stubborn streak (one example was that FOXCONN staff are very well paid she said - that tipped me over the edge) put paid to any potential she might have. What i find astounding is that she'd defend China to an absurd level however not willing to return says it all really.
I quickly terminated the friendshp as I was not looking to have a cardiac arrest over perversion of truth!!
