I don't see what the problem is with Ghost marriages.  It's their culture and integral to their culture, especially in rural areas of China.

Posthumous marriages are legal in France, the UK and many other countries.  There have even been a couple of them in the USA in recent years.

I think regulation of the price and also ensuring that there is no grave-robbing involved would be a good idea.

In the end, it's up to the Chinese to decide, not a bunch of self-serving holier than though laowai.

READ my post, I said grave robbing needs to be stopped as the price regulated by the governement.  

I may not agree with it but hell it's NOT OUR business as laowai.  It's Chinese culture not American, nor South African, nor English, nor Australia, French, German, Russian etc.  As a nation it up to it's own citizens to make a decision.
