Theevent of Wei Zexi’s death has been a hot topic. The public is asking who shouldtake the responsibility, the hospital? Bai Du? Wei Zexi died in the hospital ofBeijing Armed Police Force II. It was because he searched the information fromBai Du to get the list about the top hospitals

which could treat his lung cancer. Hetrusted it and became a patient in the hospital of BeijingArmed Police Force II.

Actually, it is not one of the top hospitals treating this illness inChina. The hospital of Beijing Armed Police Force II paid Bai Du to have itsranking come to top. In other words, Bai Du helped the hospital to cheat thepublic.

Days ago, Li Yanhong, CEO of Bai Du, talked to his staff about how BaiDu becomes big from a small company, and the recent crisis of trust from thepublic. Self-examination becomes his theme. It has been years since Bai Du usedthe way of auction to list the priority in search. Every time when publiccomplain, Bai Du would do lots of explanation. I have two questions. Is itreasonable to have an auction to get a ranking in Bai Du? Why does Bai Du notcheck its inner operation and punish those who break the rules?

What is your opinion?
