'What if you marry a Chinese woman?'

That would be a disaster; she would demand house, car, pearls, jewelry, LV, Gucci, Prada bags etc!
Your mother-in-law would demand a huge price for letting her daughter marry you, and she would want to manage your married life too, and raising your children because they think they have every right to raise their grandchildren!

Not all like that, but its hard to escape their parents....
Chinese men also have the same issues to deal with
if you want something in life get off your backside, and do it yourself!! don't rely on others to do it for you

It depends on the woman, many are not like you seem to think they are.    Mrs Ratfink to be is very much the opposite as she makes few demands (even though I have all the necessary perquisites for a Chinese bride, eg: house, good stash of money, car, credit cards and so on). No grandmother to worry about as her mother is dead and she doesn't much care for what her father thinks, she does what is required for filial piety and that's it.

It's a win win situation for me.

That totally depends upon the individual.
I am in a marriage with a Chinese woman now and absolutely nothing was demanded... neither by her, nor by her family.
Instead she insisits on putting her income into the household budget and considers it 'our money'.
So far it is a very happy marriage and I am grateful to have met her and that she married me.
She is a dream come true
