Finnish prime minister Juha Sipilä is offering his home to Syrian refugees. He is from Kempele but now lives in Helsinki, so his house in Kempele is empty.
When are Cameron, Obama, Putin and other people responsible for Syrian crisis going to open their home? What about Chinese chairman? When will he offer some help to homeless people in Beijing?

The USA has plenty of bridges they can sleep under... if they can push out the current occupants.
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

Oh I'm sure we will see some smiling Syrians working as doctors and lawyers in a few years.
They will tell the same tired story of how the USA is the land of opportunity.

The marketing department of the USA couldn't pass up a chance like this.

But the vast majority will be garbage truck drivers and landscapers paying taxes so the
billionaires of the USA can become even richer.
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

where does it say people are obligated to help
refugees?

most elect a leader to help them, not some people from far away
is that not democracy?
its Europe's problem, let them handle it

Good to see the Finnish PM offering one of his houses
of course having two houses so he can do it
usually the working poor have to bear the brunt of the refugees allocation problem
assimilation into society, housing and competition for jobs

elections have been  won by turning back boats and will be continued to be won that way
