China should join the Russians in military exercises in the Gulf of Mexico. Why not?
The U.S. has had military bases in their stooge nations of Japan and South Korea for decades.
If the U.S. has a military presence off the coast of China and in the South China Sea then China should respond in kind
and have a military presence in the Gulf of Mexico... maybe even build a few base in Cuba, Nicaragua, and Venezuela.

-------------------------------------------------------
If Russian flights over the Gulf of Mexico come to pass, "it's very significant" because it's something they've never done before, according to one military official.
On Wednesday, the Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said long-range bombers would begin conducting flights along Russian borders and over the Arctic Ocean. He added, "In the current situation we have to maintain military presence in the western Atlantic and eastern Pacific, as well as the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico."
During the Cold War, the Soviets flew surveillance and anti-submarine aircraft down to the Gulf of Mexico but never bombers.  In 2008 and 2013, Russia flew bombers into the region, but those were "engagement" flights to Nicaragua and Venezuela, coinciding with high level delegations to meet with Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega and Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.
In this case, Shoigu is talking about real bomber patrols and considering the magnitude of what is a major logistical undertaking that would involve the staging of refueling tankers required to aid bombers in flying to the Gulf of Mexico and back.

BRISBANE Australia - Western leaders warned Vladimir Putin at a G20 summit on Saturday that he risked more economic
sanctions if he failed to end Russian backing for separatist rebels in Ukraine.

Obama said the United States was at the forefront of "opposing Russia's aggression against Ukraine, which is a threat to
the world, as we saw in the appalling shoot-down of MH17" -- a reference to the downing of a Malaysian airliner over
rebel-held territory on July 17, with the loss of 298 lives.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Is the west still trying to pin the downing of that passenger jet to the Russians?
It is well known that the Ukrainian stooges of the west sent their fighter jets up to draw fire from the rebels in the area
of that passenger jet in hopes of exactly what happened. On top of that, why was a passenger jet flying over a war zone
in the first place? The pro-western Ukrainians are responsible for the downing of that jet liner.

The sanctions are a joke. There are plenty of customers for Russia's oil and natural gas. China being one of the most significant.
This U.S. still thinks it's the only nation on earth with any importance.

It does not bother us, look what the Russians are flying, some old 50's era long range bombers who we can follow all the way from Russia and back, hardly a stealthy plane. We could down it long before it got close if we wanted to.

How about Russian and Chinese naval bases in the Caribbean. That should come next.
After all, fair is fair.

China and Russia both do not have ANY significant military or political allies around the world. They don't trust each other, just like the free world does not trust Russia or China what it comes to politics or military affairs.

Indonesia are significant.

Fiji could be significant. All nations are important.

Indonesia or Fiji are both not China's or Russia's allies. Most nations are not important what it comes to world politics or world military affairs.
