China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) held a medical service drill at the Zhurihe training base in north China's Inner Mongolia on September 25th, 2014. So far, it is the first time that a medical service drill has been held under real-combat circumstances. Attendees are expected to undertake battlefield rescue, emergency surgery, medical and relief supplies airdrops, which are of great significance to the survival of wounded soldiers in wartime.
