What do you mean, like calligraphy?

We have heavly relied on computer in our daily work, yet it seems that we cannot clearly write Chinese characters even when we can understand what in our mind.

Many Chinese have lost the ability to write beautiful Chinese characters. It is a pity.

That is true .

Could this be the beginning of the end of the Chinese written language ?

Why? Just because they forget how to write a few characters? Chinese characters have evolved over thousands of years...they may change, like how the traditional characters have become simplified, but they are here to stay.

There is progress whether you are going forward or backward; the thing is to move.

We move at a fast pace now,China is not. Closed country anymore, the youth are spoilt and have no idea of hardship. Their idea of hardship is learning a new computer game while everything is given to them.

I think we should not make a fuss about that many people forget how to write Chinese Characters if you admit that Characters do not stand in our way to communication and exchange ideas. But it is a pity if we can not inherit the great Calligraphies because they are our priceless treasures.
