Keep believing that while your angelic homeboy robs you and beats you senseless.
Better buy a gun

You're not addressing the point.

This isn't about his character, but about what police are supposed to do and act in this country.

Its just like with torture and this is where John McCain had it right.

Its not about them its about who we are.

So I don't care how bad the terrorist is, I will never condone torture.

And with the police - they are not the justice system.  Its not their job to execute suspected criminals.

So I cannot condone this action.  I don't care if he robbed 20 stores.  He should of been taken in by police and faced trial.

You don't get it at all.
He was stopped and attacked the cop, tried to get his weapon, when it discharged he then ran like a coward. He got what he deserved, saves taxpayers money for a trial and prison - be thankful.

'He got what he deserved'?

First of all, there is no proof that he went after the officer's weapon.

Secondly, how many times did the cop shoot him?  I heard from 4 to 9 times.   How many bullets is necessary to stop someone?

What happened to aiming for the leg?  Are cops supposed to shoot to kill?

When is it their job to become judge, jury and executioner?

I do not want the police to have the power to determine what someone 'deserves'.

And I think you might be a little racist.

I bet you must be one of those good old boy net work club that has been beat up by brotha back in  ...

Never had a problem with any black or Hispanic people because I didn't frequent slums or drug areas.
Those that I considered friends were law-abiding upstanding citizens, some were professionals, business owners and blue collar workers - not gang bangers, dealers, winos, thieves or junkies.
You would fit right in with the criminal elements I'm sure.

They destroy their own neighborhoods, vandalize and loot businesses, ignore curfews, its mob theory in action. I would not fire rubber bullets, tear gas, tasers or use water cannons with riot police.
I would simply spray gasoline on the crowd and hold up a lighter - OK, what do want to do now???
