Accordings the survey released by Mercer,a consulting company in New York,the capital of Angola,Luanda has the highest living costs.Surprisingly,HK and Shanghai also rank in top 10,exceeding cities such as Paris,London,which are always considered the symbol of high cost of living.

In Luanda,monthly rent of a two-bedroom apartment reach $6600,While in HK,the rent gets higher at nearly $7000.Luanda boasts abundant oil resouces,that lead many foreigners to seek fortune,work and settle here,thus an increasing trend of housing price and living costs are inevitable.Hk and Shanghai are crucial financial center,a large number of ambitious youngsters pour into the cities to find more chances.Although some become successful later,they presents a very small propotion.

The phenomena seems strange,for they cherished the hope of living a better life when they migrate,the outcome is agaist their will,as a result of the accompanying rised living expenditures,they have to struggle to live.
