You are one of the few regulars on this forum that consistently offers sane and fair opinions. :hand ...

Your response was very cliche: an anticipated and predicted response of polite society.

But to keep it real: KIyer brings nothing to this forum: just typical Western Liberal explanations for all matters of the world.  But China requires scientific responses to problems, not dogmatic.

While I dont like to generalise easily, there is an interesting observation:
It is mainly westerners, many of whom I have argued or debated against, who have generously and quickly responded to my request for feedback. They dont hold anything back and sincerely let me know what they think. I have noted the reluctance of many Asians, Indians included, who will not want to step in with feedback publicly - perhaps because they fear they or their feeback might be taken negatively, or because it is too much effort. They would rather write privately, directly to me.
I am not complaining, just sharing something I have observed over the years. In many ways, it is easier to exchange ideas or opinions, even if they are contrary, in a western culture. This is one thing I believe, 'easterners' can and need to learn in this age.
