Pink sunset
Popularity 5|

I was at work when I noticed the pink sky and it was so beautiful that I had to stop to take a photo. The camera on my phone is not very good and you really cant appreciate just how awesome the sky looked today at sunset from my photo but you get the idea. It was a really beautiful sunset.
We often get awesome pink and purple sunsets here in Australia this time of year. Apparently the reason for the sky turning pink and purple is a process called scattering -
-----------------------
The physical process of scattering causes the sky to appear pink at times and other colors too. During this process, tiny particles of light are bounced off air molecules. Wavelength, time of day and laws of quantum mechanics play key roles in determining the color of the sky.

Do you get pink sunsets where you live? Purple?

Virtual Reality will change the way we live our lives? 2019-1-10 10:36
"NEW YORK (AP) — Just a few years ago, virtual reality was poised to take over the world. After decades of near misses, the revolution finally seemed imminent, with slick consumer headsets about to hit the market and industries from gaming and entertainment to social media ready to hop on the bandwagon.
But the buzz over VR has faded to a whisper. At the CES 2019 tech show in Las Vegas, Facebook's Oculus unit isn't holding any glitzy press events, just closed-door demos for its upcoming Oculus Quest, a $399 untethered headset due out in the spring. Other VR companies are similarly subdued. HTC announced two new headsets — one with only sketchy details — while Sony has some kiosks for its $300 PlayStation VR set in the main hall.
It's a world away from the scene a few years ago, when VR products from Samsung, Oculus, HTC and Sony seemed omnipresent and unstoppable at CES. These days, VR is mostly a niche product for gaming and business training, held back by expensive, clunky headsets, a paucity of interesting software and other technological shortcomings." - Fox News -

You should come and holiday in central western NSW. It is a good place for looking at the sun, moon and stars.
