Yes I am a fairly good guide with the Chinese students I accept into my home for free tutoring. Have worked with over 500 in my home in the years I have lived in China. Not even think of myself as a "teacher" not agree using that term. LOL

I think I did offend him. I wrote him and apologized to him if, in fact, I did offend. Not my intention at all. He wrote a blog and referred to 'M&M' who is a star blogger. Though what he talked about in the blog was not anything I said, I still feel that he might have been offended that I corrected his spelling publicly. I should think twice before posting any comments on here. I should have given him the correction privately and not publicly. I will be more careful in the future.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is any real way to tell a "native speaker" that his/her English sucks. They tend to get offended when corrected.

In recent years, China has resumed many traditional festivals, and has made these traditional holidays as statutory holidays, which is an initiative and also an attitude. Festivals are human needs, especially a cultu ... ...

My life became devastated when my husband sent me packing, after 8 years that we have been together. I was lost and helpless after trying so many ways to make my husband take me back. One day at work, i was absent minded not knowing that my boss was calling me, so he sat and asked me what its was all about i told him and he smiled and said that it was not a problem. I never understand what he meant by it wasn't a problem getting my husband back, he said he used a spell to get his wife back when ... ...

In keeping with the adage: 'Praise in public, scold in private', I send you this message rather than posting it as a comment on your most recent article: What About American Democracy?. "The president is chosen by popular vote." That is actually incorrect. All other elected positions are chosen by popular vote but the president is chosen by the electoral college, whose decision happens to mostly coincide with the popular vote. Four times, an American presidential candidate won the popular vot ... ...
