An Elderly Lady Saved Her Grandson

It was a good day with cloudless blue sky.

An elderly lady took her grandson outdoor to play.

They moved slowly on the building’s gate slope.

Suddenly, she was tripped by the resistance strips and fell forward.

She held her grandson tightly by palms and supported ground by elbows.

Her head knocked at the ground, and her eyes and nose kept bleeding.

I ran to help her to stand up by pulling her arms.

Her blood had dripped to the baby’s face and he was frightened to cry.

I quickly gave her my paper napkin to stop bleeding.

Comforted her that the baby was okay after my observation.

Asked her if I could help to contact any family member at home.

She told me that her husband would arrive in a minute after shopping.

Remark.  It was written on 6 June 2018.

I would use "glimpse" instead of "glance".

Great to see this. I'd like you to confirm, that many people of Dalian don't think they are part of Liaoning and that they like to be thought a locality on its own, like Shanghai. Another interesiting thing is when I visited Dalian not long ago, the tourist guide there often talked about the former leader (you know whom, a very sensitive one) of the city, and said he was wronged and things like that to tourists, very surprising...
