As we all know, sports professions earn a great deal money than people in other important professions. For some so-called"sports stars",their income can reach high beyond your imagination.Obviously, salaries should reflect a person's contributionto society, and those who contribute more deserve more reward.Compare with people in other important professions such as doctors, teachers and technologists, athletes do not contribute as much as they do and therefore do not deserve a salary much higner than them.Teachers contribute to the society by dedicating themselves to educating younger generations, doctors by devoting themselves to rescuing people's lives, and techologists by endeavoring to improve people's life quality with their new products.but what do athletes contribute to the society except entertainments? The value of these "ordinary "but "essential"careers lies in that without them, the society might stop progressing.Meanwhile, the distribution of income within a society should be fair and appropriate. If the sports figures have a big bite on the pie, those who need more to survive will have less to share, there are still many people who cannot fill their stomachs in the society.Famine  is still raging on some regions, sick people who needs medical care is sufferring misery and hopeless because of poverty.while some athletes lead an extravagant life

In my opinion all pro-sport should be nationalized and the profits should be used to help fund the state. And no I do not believe that athletes should be able to have such large salaries - or anyone else. I am for an personal income cap.

I have a theory that pro-sport stars salaries have been purposely encouraged to be increasingly ludicrous as a way of justifying the increasingly ludicrous salaries in other professions and of CEOs and their golden handshake deals and to make the profits being made on the stock market by the few seem less shocking than they actually are. It wasnt always the way that athletes made such incredible amounts of money - it is a recent thing. If you pay Shaq or Lebron $20 million per season then it doesnt seem as shocking for a CEO to be paid millions per year to run a company.

But yeah - imagine if we nationalized pro-sports. Imagine the revenue the state could bring in.
