A bitter story in childhood

When I was in Grade Three in primary school, my headteacher was ill whose job was done by another farmer-teacher. As we talked loudly in the classroom, the new teacher rushed in and whipped us with a long thin-bamboo-stick. I was badly hurt with a finger-size-bump on the head! That was so painful that as if the heart was poked! I dropped head on the desk but dare not cry!--------------After class I told the story to my father who  had quarreling with the teacher! The ‘criminal’ had to apologize! ---------But that is dark memory for my life!

(Two years later, he was dismissed from teaching post and became an ordinary peasant. Now he can get one hundred Yuan  per month as 'salary’ from the government for his several years of contribution to education!)
