The bridge from agriculture to education

First, let me begin the topic with the Chinese agriculture development in the recent decades


Before 1979, peasants did labor job in the commune production-team who were quite inactive! 

--------Every day, the captain knocked the iron bell hanging in the tree telling villagers 'it is time for work! ---------Then his ‘soldiers’ come out of home and asked what job they ought do. -------In the field they did farming and chatting for about three hours for half a day. Some naughty members were lazy, I saw the captain was lecturing them in anger as if parent was scolding kid at home!


I think the modern students act like those old farmers who are lack of good sense from the master of their business!


In 1980each family  was given one piece of farmland and farmers became the real boss of their dealing who do work with great efficiency without any leadership of the captain!


------Feeding-duck-mood-teaching (填鸭式教学) let teachers feel tired while students become lazy who would easily lose interest for learning!


Famers invested blood-like money for kinds of farming tools including engines to irrigate crops. --------It was lucky the first agriculture reform was successful since farmers could harvest a lot that is enough to feed themselves and contribute extra grain to the cities for money.

But in the recent ten years, those old production mood has become unfit for the new era since many heavy machines like combine harvesterhave been widely used in the farmland, at the meantime those old small machines have become rubbish! -------Now people have formed new concept about what is 'agriculture’ !


I remembered thatBefore 1993, I had used one knife with wooden handleto cut and get in wheat crops for several days every year which hard job let me look like a prisoneras a friend called me ! -----------I really cried when I first saw how the huge harvest doing the same job in the magic way!


I think that our future kids would learn in a new way whose work efficiency is as high as the harvester if our education reform is carried out.


I deeply believe that we are using blood to explain what education is! ----------Decades latterfresh ideas would be added to the definition of the common words ‘education’ and ‘schooling’

Learning is and will always be our own lifelong thing .. Now when you think about reform and revolution stuff , Is education all school's or system's problem ..?

The first agriculture reform was originated by peasants of that village and allowed by officials and soon it was carried out all China.
In fact, our education_industry is quite young that needs innovation. That is our duty that we must train our kids in high efficiency with less pain and more pleasure!

I wish my stupid suggestion_ writing could spark experts' clever theory.

I seldom do flattering to others and we should not always say good words about our teaching!  Each teacher prepares every class with great effect but it is not enough I think. We must pay good attention to the kids’  interest that should be the main motive energy for their progress in the long term!

In fact everyone including children are smart to the external environment that includes kinds of information touching the hearing and sight.  We do different actions to the concrete condition.

Human's memory and creativity is powerful that may beyond your imagination!   It is said an ordinary person could memorize half of the knowledge from all books stored in the biggest library in the U.S. if he (or she)works properly with the head!--------I heard the saying on the radio in 1980s.

So never blame kids for their poor behavior since maybe the real problem lies on the school side!

The success of Chinese education should let most students play out much of their potential ability that needs the teachers’ wisdom and clever administration of the authority!

Education is indeed the key to the future. A disciplined and knowledgeable mind (with a sense of social responsibility) will prepare each individual for the challenges he/she faces ahead, and help each find their own solutions with self-confidence and robustness.

In China there is a wrong saying on education: Students should work hard to learn more knowledge! --------WHY?

Everyone‘s knowledge would be limited no matter how hard you try! --------And it is useless if you have mastered too much book-things without putting it into practice!

So the learning process ought to train the sharpness of our thinking ability that is useful to help us solve reality problems in the future!

The task of schooling should be learning how to think in logical smart way!
