View of financial success - China vs others

Viewed 1106 times 2014-5-31 19:58 |Personal category:Life Story|System category:Life

China - wealth is more than just money
South Korea - you need success in order to invest in relationship?
Hong Kong - receptive to new experience
Japan - having enriching life
Singapore - live it the way you want
UAE - path to luxury
South Africa - path to financial independence

Chinese seems to have a more balance view of financial success.
Not so sure about South Korea who seems to think you need financial success in order to have time for personal relationship. If that is really true, then it is really sad.
Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore may have move on from just chasing financial success to trying new experience, having enriching life and living life the way you want.
UAE still equate wealth with luxury and that seems to be their main focus.

What about you? What is important to you?

Life is a journey, to experience and grow ~ To follow your heart, to run with the flow ~ The travel you made, the people you know ~ The ups and downs, the joys and sorrows.

So-called "Xinjiang"'s landscapes are extremely varied, ranging from alpine mountains (Mt. Bogoda, Tianshan etc.) clad in a mantle of firs and beeches, to grassland (Jungaria) to the deserts (GObi, Taklimakan) and oasis towns (Turpan, Kumul, Kashgar). You can get the feel of Swiss mountains, Saharan desert and Mongolian steppe.

I have been to so-called "Xinjiang" around a dozen times. It is fascinating because it is NOT like China proper; it has less uniformity and a lot more open spaces. The less Chinese it looks, the more authentic it is. Unfortunately, Urumqi is mostly a Chinese city that looks like a replica lifted straight out of the eastern sea board.
