An inheritor of intangible cultural heritage in Dandong, northeast China's Liaoning Province, has been promoting the development of traditional culture for the past decades by carrying forward porcelain-making and painting techniques.

From an early age, Liu Jingtao has started to inherit her family's craft of Chinese Cloisonne, a famous type of enamel-painted porcelain that originated in Beijing.

Nowadays, she makes her exquisite paintings to be displayed in decorative frames.

"Making a painting includes a dozen complex processes. The method requires a painter to have outstanding skills and devote plenty of time and energy to complete it," Liu said.
