Officials from Zhaizeping Village in Linxian County, north China's Shanxi province, recently established a cloth-processing factory and organized a special crafts training program for dozens of local women to help them shake off poverty.

Now, each of the women participants can earn 1,500 yuan a month making distinctive ethnic insoles, costumes, and cloth tigers.

Look how poor you are! Can you even believe how poor you are? You had no idea just how poor you were did you. You should have never been born. Your simple parents have gifted you a life that is some kind of hell. Go to uni don't go to uni - you will never escape this hell!

These girls would be a lot happier if they never knew about the city wouldn't they. And now they know how poor they are and they will always feel shame about it especially in China. The journalist just wanted to poison their simple minds and he/she would have gotten a perverse pleasure from doing that.
