I can imagine that a Chinese millionaire having 100'000 one-hundred yuan notes might think he is ...

European aristocrats are usually landowners.
For them, the land is usually more important than a heap of money.

Often, they feel responsible for the well-being of the people who live on their land.
Traditionally, these people return the favor with loyalty.

Money does not seem to be the central part of this arrangement.

I was going to write in some other thread that China must focus on being more creative in a global sense. That thought was triggered by looking at some of the box-office movies coming out of Hollywood and comparing them with the way films are made that have lately been coming out of China. Of course this is just about the 'dimensional quality of cultural affinity', a term which i have just coined while typing it and without myself fully agreeable to what i intend it to exactly mean.

Having surpassed even myself in gobbledygook, i can now banish that original triggering thought - because in reading the nuances used in the other comments in this thread, i can conclude that China is on the right track to beat the native english speakers at their own game.

Because all the commentators in this forum are:

Chinese.

No?

For an educated Chinese person, this is not difficult to do.

The greatest problem, is the Chinese accent when speaking English.
