A sexy poster featuring a woman with exposed breasts and sexually explicit advertisement appeared in a bulletin board of a primary school in Guangzhou, causing great concerns of the parents who are already quite nervous about some information their children might get exposed to on the internet.
The poster is about a mobile phone friend finder app through which you can call total strangers and have “phone sex”.
Why such posters could be found on a primary school campus? No idea.
Worrying fact? Indeed.
You might think so what? If kids don’t understand it, how can they be affected by it? Wrong. Early exposure to sexual content in the media may have a profound impact on children’s values, attitudes and behaviors toward sex and relationships. Seeing such information might actually motivate some kids to find ways to act it out to try to make sense of it.
