Li Shihua (R), vice professor in Xiangtan University, is suffering from nasopharyngeal carcinoma. To support her dream of getting a PhD degree and being a professor, her husband Liu Weidong (L) has been running the snack stand for more than 9 years.

It took Li 9 years to be a vice professor. Before that, she only had a certificate of a secondary school. In 2009, when the whole family moved to Xiangtan city to start their new life. Li was diagnosed nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
