Nobody trusts the Malaysian government, even before this airline incident
Stan, you're holding a gun to God's head. I can't think of a metaphor that's better than this.

So much time wasted

Blame Malay military
Keeping information from government.
Took a week to disclose MH370 did a back track.
Now they have re calibrated the speed and come up with a new final destination, only after 3 weeks.

Can understand the Chinese want to make sure whatever debris they get from the ocean is actually from MH370. Even if they have to examine it in Beijing or Seattle.

Will the Malay military come up with another disclosure?
The one they could not hide.

I fail to see why China should be involved in the investigation in a position equal or superior to ...

Probably looking for land grabs. The more places China can go "look" for survivors... the more it can later say "ohhh that's our territory. we were there when that plane crashed lol"

The Chinese ruling clique has eagerly spun the wheel to make the Malaysians look bad.

I think  ...

don't know who got out of the starting blocks first regarding the Islam connection

in the Murdoch press in Australia it was a quick exit.

as for blaming Malaysia , well the first country to show unhappiness was Vietnam.
all justifiably so.

I think with the grieving relatives it has been a bit of culture problems or shock
the Chinese are more used to having official information come at them slow and from one direction. Rarely
denied and counter denied latter.
If China had a "free press" I could imagine what it will be saying
You have to look at the Murdoch press to get an idea. Murdoch himself by the way claims the plane is in Pakistan, get the idea.
With this MH370 there has been a torrent of rumours and claims and denials. In the early weeks the Malay civil authorities and Malay military were obviously not on the same page so to speak.
The relatives have not much to do to pass the time, I am sure there are some provocateurs among them causing problems.

FOLLOW THE CLOCK . . .

BETWEEN 6:30 AM AND 8:19 AM . . .

THE PLANE MUST DO SOMETHING THAT YOU DON'T NEED THE RADAR TO KNOW . . .

IT MUST LAND AND REFUEL . . .

THEREFORE, BEFORE ASKING WHERE THE PLANE ENDED . . . ONE MUST ASK, "WHERE DID THE PLANE REFUEL?"

AND THIS LEADS RIGHT TO DARWIN AUSTRALIA.
