Hu Ming is the female Chinese Artist behind the controversal Oil Painting Art works involving mostly of sexy and powerful images of Chinese women in the miltary during the cultural Revolution.  Born in 1955, Hu Ming spent twenty years, starting in 1970, in the People’s Liberation Army where she rose to the rank of Major. Her paintings of scantily clad women in the red Chinese army uniform of the 1970s are exhibited around the world and selling for thousands of dollars. Art or obscenity?  Did the artist depict their real experiences in the army and represent her fellow female comrades from the Cultural Revolution? Isn't it disrespectful to portray Chinese military women as sexy pinup girls?
