Chinese, looking back on history, have been evolving for over 4000 years that many characters have approached aesthetic perfection. They are wonderful designs combining sounds, calligraphy and meanings.

But how many of us are still writing? When was the last time you write in Chinese?
Not long ago, I joined a test, I had to write Chinese, I found that I had forgotten so many used-to-be familliar characters that I had to turn to my cellphone pinyin for help.

Do you agree that Pinyin input is killing Chinese writing?
I wonder what we can do about it.

The picture below just made me thinking.

but there are other inputs that can keep You  remember the chinese writing, right?

for example one that uses a lines which have to be written in the right order.
I see many people using it on the mobile, maybe similar is for PCs?

The western world that China is trying to catch up to is using the roman alphabet, not simplified Chinese. It would be a wise idea for China to use Pinyin and get use to the roman alphabet. I don't see many western nations offering the Chinese language using simplified characters in our schools, nor do I see much planning for it. The English language seems to be one of the most popular to learn, and I see that many nations are schooling there people with it.
