AND THEN THERE WAS NONE!!

BUT WHAT WOULD TAKE IT'S PLACE? There's only a certain amount of chicken's feet{:soso_e100:}

The average person in the country of China eats rice once or twice a day.
Exactly how much rice is eaten in China is not listed.
However, China grows fifty-five percent of the worlds rice and only exports 90-95 of the product. Rice has long been a staple in the Chinese diet.

Interesting question! In fact, people have used pumpking to make sugar free rice. so, it's possible to have man-made rice in the future.

Seeing how people in the South eat so much more rice than the people in the North and seeing how people in the North eat much more noodles than people in the South, I imagine that more people are going to be eating noodles.
There are a lot of products grown that can replace rice, the whole world does not consider rice a staple, they have other foods as starches:  potatoes, pasta, etc.
I don't imagine Chinese will simply stop eating because there is no rice, they would quickly find a replacement.
