This mornning I made some shots to show how Kaiping looks like at the dawn, and to continue testing my cheap (under 1000RMB) pocket-camera.Every photo shown here is not processed - despite change of the size in Irfan View.
Every photo is made in automatic modes, with a very few settings modified (as this camera don't have manual settings).
Starting from the river, that is the axis of Kaiping.
While waiting for the sun - I made few photos to show how differend can be the same place.
full automatic mode panorama 120 deg
full automatic mode panorama 180 deg
automatic mode panorama, but with a little reduced EV
and 4 more photos of the same scenery (automatic mode, reduced EV)
-1 EV - three different "cuts"
now, walking along the river banks...
and a close-up
smaller boat, looking like abandoned
in the residential zones - people having a breakfast
going to work
or taking their dogs for a... ride
warm morning sun
...and the remainings from the evening
few people uses the Taxis... here are two most popular types

what is the test result of your cheap pocket-camera? are you satisfied with it?
it seems th ...
Yup. I'm satisfied, but still finding some weak spots.
And the biggest test wasn't made yet, made because of the weather :)
Hm... "oridinary" is not so oridinary for us.
Few persons said, that when we are visiting the new place - we see it different than locals.
And I thhink, that it is true.
I can't speak for the others, but for me it is also essentiall to show as real Chinese life as possible.
Not only as it is in the biggest cities, not as in the "theme parks" and "Tourist villages". But a real everyday life in an average places. Helps me that I live in the average small city, and I have few friends in here or in the villages around.
I've seen some bigger cities and I'm impressed by the modern development, but what I really like - is a small and average city (town?). With all pros and cons :)
