HUMANS OF THE WORLD UNITE - YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE BUT YOUR GENES!
It is time that the Indians and the Chinese get together to defend the genes God has given to them, to their plants and to their animals.
Foreign corporations are applying patents to genes that Nature created, and which they claim to have "discovered", and which nobody else may then use for diagnosis or treatment in matters of cancer therapy, such as the breast cancer genes, and now, they mutilate these Nature-given genes in agricultural plants and animals for profit, making them do things that merely have commercial value, but may also cause unknown biodiversity damage, and upset the ecosystem in ways totally unknown to man.
The exploitation of the genetic realm by these modern pirates promises to destroy the planet faster than the exploitation of the minerals and plants of the macroscopic world. The wreckage they must necessarily leave behind directly impacts the food supply and the genetic composition of their victim populations, which run the risk of being wiped out by starvation or direct mutation of their own genes.
It is time China stop focusing on earning more dollars, euros and yens, and start earning more health and preserving the genes of its animals, plants and human beings from foreign invasion, subversion and destruction. Are the two oldest civilizations wise enough to get together on this on a long term basis, or are they going to quarrel over the crumbs left over by the British Empire?
