Stay on topic please! This thread is about Mr. Xi's wife, not Mr' Hu's!

I don´t know  in what grade you stopped studying in primary school or how low is your understanding to catch the topic.

What people is talking here passionately and without measure is about the current first lady as China never had before first ladies in the past.
Denial, according the psychoanalysts, is one of the most primary mechanisms of defense. It consists in the attitude of denying or minimizing obvious facts of reality with which the individual can´t  cope or whose irresponsibility is unable to meet.

And I agree.

What she did?
As I know she is the first lady recently

Mrs. Obama is still the first lady of the United States. I was speaking of social gaffes from her husband's first term as president. For example, one does not hug the Queen. The British media were all aflutter about that massive gaffe.

What about the other former President¨s wives?

None of them have a bit of credit?

Quite to the contrary, many first ladies have left considerable legacies. Most of them in the USA, however, were from before my time. Elenore Roosevelt certainly left a mark. Jackie Kennedy practically redefined the role and made it a much more public role than in the past. Hillary Clinton certainly made waves.

This is the first time I've heard anything about China's first lady, though. I fully understand why the American media would not provide much coverage, so is there something you can share about former Chinese first ladies?

You said Mrs. Peng is doing a brilliant job

and my question for you was , what she did to make think she is doing a brilliant job

Leave US first lady aside, she is not the topic.

Actually, in the case of Mme. Peng it is fairly easy since she's not been in the position for very long. So far, she's receiving positive press coverage, she's been involved (at least symbolically, but somehow I think more than just that) in several charitable acts toward other countries, and she seems to be working hard to project a very positive image of China throughout the world.
