Brit-I'm sorry but I've got two things to say about this and neither is going to be good.  Number one is "grow a pair".  You're the man in the relationship.  It's your duty as an American male to provide for your family.  You're shopping in America.  You pay.  Second point is "what the heck are you thinking?" From the sounds of it, neither of you is fully aware of the cultural differences you face.  You've been together for a month and you love her like nobody's ever loved a woman before?  She's gotten upset with you three times and you don't know what you did wrong, and you can't live without this woman?  Have some sense Man!  Back off the heat for a while and see if the relationship grows organically.  When you both can be comfortable about who pays for what, then maybe you're making some progress.  Better to get to know each other first.  You argue over who pays for groceries and the next move will be living together?  Dude, grow up.

We never do when guys come to talk to us about how to handle their newly-conquered Chinese sheila. ...

Yup, he is finding out Chinese girls need to be the center of attention and that can be very hard work when you are tired.
