According to a story in the South China Morning Post, more than 90 percent of Hong Kong citizens polled in a recent survey said that they wanted the region to return to British rule??

Ok the poll is bias, people who read and respond to South China Morning Posts are probably idioits.

But Hong Kong does have its owned manufactured Identity created by the Brits, reminds me a lot of Manchukuo.

People simply don't believe that they will lead better lives under a more authoritarian government.

As far as I remember, no one seriously wanted HK to be placed under British administration.

ya become as forgetful as ya become older. This is common...

mhh, a sign of aging my dear lad,

when I was yours, similare symthoms came up...
luckily, my wife knows Chinese medicine...and what to do...

"however, back to yor subject,
"no one seriously wanted HK to be placed under British"

Nobody is willing to go backwards...
It takes about 40 muscles to smile, but only 4 to pull the trigger of a decent rifle
