Check "Bill Clinton's 80 million Payday" to see how badly you are brainwashed.

Then you will understand #4 below.

There are four kinds of corruption, from lowest to highest :

(1) cash bribery. I don’t have to explain what it is.

(2) asset bribery. For example, sell an apartment to government officers at price much lower than market value.

(3) controlling business opportunities. If there are good business opportunities, everyone wants a piece of it. So those who can get the offers or contracts are the ones who make money. If you have family business, being a powerful politician secures the business opportunities for your family business in lot of ways. People will love to give the contracts to your family business compared to other available options. Of course you will return the favors in favor through the political power you have, like giving them state contracts, or paying them higher for the contract.

(4) mutual trust between politicians and businessmen, that is, politicians work for businessmen when they are in office and believe he will get in return after leaving office. Why do you think Clinton has given so many 5 min speeches, each paid tens of thousands of dollars? While Brooksley Born, the one who tried to contain Wall St, was never given such opportunities?

Ignorant.

Usually, the way to calculate GINI is 5%.

India lagged so behind that like only 0.1% can be called rich. 0.1% averaged into 5%.

A down and out will not lose any more self worth by exchanging soul for a sandwich and a bar of soap. I'd imagine he can recant swiftly after meal and revisit the routine on a need to eat basis!

In a rare show of unity........and without further to do (sic)

Billionaire Bill Gates blasts capitalism saying that it's the reason why research for 'male baldness gets more funding than malaria'

Just hilarious!

we have our own thieving ex PM....Bliar, Tony.

Since walking out of Downing Street in June 2007, Mr Blair, the most successful Prime Minister in Labour’s history, has struck a number of lucrative deals that have earned him millions of pounds.

Tony Blair is a burgeoning brand. He is an adviser, sometimes paid, sometimes unpaid, to foreign governments - and in some cases dictators; a hugely in demand, highly paid public speaker; an international business consultant; and a philanthropist with two charities in his name and another devoted to improving the plight of Africans. He is also a Middle East peace envoy with an office in Jerusalem and author of a best-selling memoir, the proceeds of which he gave to charity.

Mr Blair is paid in the region of £3 million a year to advise both JP Morgan, the US investment bank, and also Zurich International, the global insurer based in Switzerland. On top of that he runs his own consultancy firm - Tony Blair Associates - which advises the oil and gas rich governments of Kuwait and Kazakhstan.

It is a confusing mix of business, politics and philanthropy that is administered by a complex system of companies, operating out of plush offices in Grosvenor Square in Mayfair in central London.
There are two parallel companies both with similar structures. One is called Windrush Ventures and another is called Firerush Ventures.

As long as we're busy making up story lines to counter any argument the homeless man refused
the sandwich and a bar of soap because he would have to attend church services and swear
he believed in the Christian God. He turned down the free sandwich to save his soul from the
damnation of frivolous and fictional Christian doctrine.
If Bill Gates said any such thing then you should post the source of such quotes.
Otherwise he could have said that poor people should be used for research experiments
to improve the lives of the rich and if it results in the death of the poor, so be it.
You western propagandist keep forgetting this is the internet and lies told as truth are just that.
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

Robert,

The guy arrainged in court for vagrancy and begging had noting to do with religion. I notice that you are not familiar with how criminal justice works. Part of the ongoing revelation that you are not familiar with anything as you refuse to avail yourself to information on the basis that you are being brainwashed by reading!

He, homeless,  was offered by the magistrate to seek counselling via social services and/or go to prison. He chose prison...he could have been housed permanently by social services but he chose prison and homelessness upon release. Faux communist/socialist are quick to point fingers without any REGARD, for the fact!

Just google Bill Gates rail against male baldness and capitalism. It is allover the news but then i remember you stop reading ad just make it up as you go along.

An extract from Independent newspaper below.

Bill Gates has declared capitalism “flawed” because it channels more resources to curing minor ailments such as male baldness than to addressing the diseases that destroy millions of lives every year.

The billionaire founder of the software giant Microsoft, who is now one of the world’s most prominent philanthropists, told a conference in London last week that it was an indictment of the economic system that dominates most of the planet that more money is spent on research to reverse hair loss than on tackling scourges of the developing world such as malaria.

“Our priorities are tilted by marketplace imperatives,” he said at the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Global Grand Challenges Summit.
