The amulets is then tested for kongrapan or immune from weapons. Some amulets were thrown into the river and slowly moved towards the shore. Some of those 108 kinds herbal or wahn made amulets can be used to treat insects bite and some illnesses. All of those amulets already run out of stocks, where some were remake again by the temple and also duplication (factory made) by businessman.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

I had been writing and posting amulets of Luang Phor Khron of Wat Uttamaram and affiliate Temples. How's he looks like? Well not much different from an ordinary monks you will encounter in any Buddhist Temples in Thailand or around the world. Some temples must buy ticket in order to venerate to the Buddha images and monks live in luxuries. Monks are supposed to observe 227 precepts, and yet monks are talking among themselves where is the best vegetarian restaurant. Such Temples must be in the cities or tourists attraction places.

A 400 years old Wat Uttamaram is located in the prominent Muslim villages in a country side and half an hour walk from the main road, and  all the villagers and even the Sultan deeply respected him.
