My point is that there are cities that are more pleasant to live, not because one is better than another one. My point is that in the particular Asian culture is very different than in America (the continent) and Europe for living and in my case I do not feel 100% happy living in Asia (China and South Korea) but i can handle well.
Denial, according the psychoanalysts, is one of the most primary mechanisms of defense. It consists in the attitude of denying or minimizing obvious facts of reality with which the individual can´t  cope or whose irresponsibility is unable to meet.

And I agree.

Interesting.  What i have been finding is we have more in common that I had previously thought.

The whole work ethic and patriotism thing - that is very much like american culture.

We have a good indian restaurant in my neighborhood.  My son eats there all the time.

Can you tell from these 'specialties' if this is all americanized?

Yes, they are the menu's we have here too. They are authentic. The first one that you mentioned have to be "Vegetable Thali" if I am not wrong. The prices seem to be economical for the American Market. The Indian ones will cost one sixth of the price. Anyway, all those ones are North Indian ones. South Indian cuisine is totally unique to North Indian ones. As I can understand most Indian restaurants abroad basically serve North Indian cuisine.
