Your delusional if you think China is not already Capitalist.  And I do agree that for the west to survive, they will have to learn a few lessons from Socialist countries which have successfully been able to take care of their people.  But NOT lesons from China - more like Norway and Sweden who arguably have a successful social-democratic system.  China is certainly NOT a socialist success story.  Ask any educated poor person where they would rather live - most would choose Northern Europe followed by the US/Canada and China would be far down on that list.  So much for the communist/socialist ideal of taking care of the poor.

First you must be educated. You know nothing about communism and China's version of communism.
China's major industries such as banking and mining are state owned enterprises.
If you want to get funding from China it has to be approved by the government.
Cities and provinces operate as investment banks do in capitalist nations.
I imagine you think a lot of people are delusional being as misinformed as you are.
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

The Scandinavian countries did quite well as "welfare democracies" while the Soviet Union was still around. With the collapse of the USSR, they became capitalism's next targets for destruction. The corporations moved in and took over their manufacturing base, gradually forcing their own practices on these countries.

Germany was the last manufacturing economy able to stand up to the corporations, but through trickery and corruption its destruction is imminent.
Will China follow suit? It remains to be seen.....
The world needs more idiots like me, all the others think they are clever.

State owned or state managed public enterprises were common in US years ago and many still exist so that does not make a Communist country.  Cities and provinces run like investment banks?  That sounds VERY Capaitalist to me.. Thank you for proving my point.
