It doesn't take an Einstein to realize the bible and the other religious manuscripts are bunch of poppycock.
Religions have given God a bad name and even confused Einstein.
China is the one country that protects its citizens from religions. Keep up the good work China. {:soso_e182:}

Einstein letter on God to be auctioned on eBay
Associated Press – October 7, 2012

LONDON (AP) — A letter in which Albert Einstein dismissed the idea of God as a product of human weakness is being sold
on eBay for a starting price of $3 million.

The letter, handwritten in 1954, a year before Einstein's death, was addressed to philosopher Eric Gutkind. In it,
Einstein discussed his views on religion, including calling "the Bible a collection of honorable but still primitive
legends which are nevertheless pretty childish."

An anonymous collector who bought the letter in 2008 is putting it on sale on online auction site eBay from Monday.
The auction closes Oct. 18.

Eric Gazin, a spokesman for the sale, said Sunday: "With the interest in Einstein, along with the questions this
(letter) touches on, we feel it is well worth the price."

If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

You might be right. Christianity is on a swift decline throughout the world and once it is eliminated
from China then it could be completely eliminated as it should be.

If the idea of God is as illogical, as the likes of you would have us believe, then why is it that people through the ages always looked for a God?

Is the need for a higher entity instinctive? If so how has it evolved, and for what purpose? Do other primates have the same yet undiscovered longing for a God?

Human-kind entertained numerous fallacies in the past but with enlightenment they all but disappeared. So to what do you attribute the persistence of this concept?
The world needs more idiots like me, all the others think they are clever.

Religion is on the decline in the USA. However it is still prevalent. I was only humoring the little fellow
who made the outrageous sounding claim that Christianity was on growing quickly in China.
At most Christianity is 4% in China (the claim by the Christians) and more likely closer to 1% according
to more reliable sources. But even at 3% it would bring the total to around 40 million people.. a lot of pathetic morons.
In my opinion China should be more diligent in monitoring for evangelists entering China under devious pretenses and
deny entry to those who are suspected of this immoral practice and deport those already in China practicing this
immoral practice.
Spreading religions in China will only hamper the progress China is making. It is like a cancer and will retard people's minds.
It is an evil concoction from the west and has no place in a civilized society.

So to what do you attribute the persistence of this concept?

Lack of critical thinking skills.

How do you explain that different religions go with different areas? Imagine two families living 2 killometers away from each other, one leaving in Israel and the other in Egypt, just an imaginary line (border) cuts between them. Which is most likely to be a muslim family? ...and how do you explain that? Isn't it simply explained because that's the way they are taught to think in that area? In other words: They don't really decide for themselves if they're going to be religious, they're default muslims and if they have enough critical thinking skills might become atheists!

If people had their own ideas about religion certain religions wouldn't be in certain nations. The Greek pantheon wouldn't be in ancient Greece, Christianism wouldn't be mostly in the west, Buddhism wouldn't be most in eastern asia etc.

Critical thinking, the only tool needed to dispell the religion bullshit.
