Is there any thing that can tie you to the past? It may be the first teddy bear your father bought you; your special favorite family recipe; or, the tear and fear on the very first day at kindergarten.
My one is the first letter I wrote, at the age of 10, to my pen friend in Finland. Although this sheet of old letter become pretty weathered and aged, it has its own charm - a recollection of my childhood days. The days which were full of first time events–the first time posting letter to pen friend, the first day riding bicycle and the hard moment my open palm swatted by my dear teacher's thick ruler………. Every piece of those events was sweet or though, bitter for the thick ruler; however, all of them were unique and new to my childhood life. It was a peaceful period – that nothing to worry and free of commitment. Time flies. Why my old days slipped away just with a second. I really miss them, although living in present is my philosophy, the charm of old days always stop me at the present moment and relive those fascinating memories.
