Deep fried sweet ham rolls with condensed milk.This dessert from an experimental Chinese restaurant is a triple-threat: slices of fatty ham, rolled in sugary dough and deep fried, then soaked in condensed milk. I bet you can feel your cholesterol rise with every bite.


Shanghai, China: Deep fried red bean pancake
A fried red bean pancake is always an indulgence, but this version could pass for an oilcloth. Sifu writes: “It was like eating raw dough brushed with a thin layer of equally oily red bean paste (that’s how greasy it was -- almost as if it were given a ladle of oil to finish).”



India: Jalebi
Indian candy-makers deep-fry a coil of fermented batter and then soak it in syrup until it gleams. Delicious and disgusting.





India: Gulab jamun
Globs of fried double-cream dough, floating in a vat of flavored syrup … how many do you think you could swallow before keeling over?





Phillippines: Tocino del cielo
The literal translation of tocino del cielo is “heavenly bacon” or “lard from heaven” -- possibly because it could be your last meal. The flan-like dessert made from a kilo of sugar and 25 egg yolks.






Phillipines: Triflan
A toxic triflan cake from a Filipino grocery store. Made with cassava, coconut milk and far too much yellow food coloring.







Thailand: Deep fried bananas
Bananas are a healthy snack, unless they’re soaked in batter and deep fried. Unfortunately, there are vendors all over Thailand and the smell is hard to resist.



Myanmar: Faluda
Faluda is a popular summer drink in the Indian subcontinent. It’s a slush of ice cream, tutti frutti, basil seeds and whatever sugary additives are on hand. You don’t want to know how many calories are in each sip.



China: Deep fried glazed buns with condensed milkThese shiny lumps of Plasticine were once plain Chinese buns. Deep frying and glazing has brought them to this artery-clogging state. Now pass the condensed milk dipping sauce.

All these desserts/snacks are either fried or loaded with refined sugar or both, not healthy at all. Fried/sweet foods are delicious, just don't eat too much.

Asian food and four or five in Europe have very big difference,but I prefer Asian food.Probably because of my Asian eating habits,If let me every day to eat hamburgers I will spit.Asian food looks richer connotation and it Tastes good.
