So why do you constantly keep trying to make it something it isn't. As I suspected, you do not know China. You "like China as a socialist nation", a romanticized idea of what China really is. Don't wait to retire, come and work here, spend a couple years, live like a local (of course, if you spend all your days and nights in western bars and restaurants there is no difference between China and the West), spend your hard earned money in products that were knowingly made with poisonous components in order to cut corners and we'll see what's your real idea about China.

I came to China because I thought she was the prettiest girl in the world. Now I still think she's the prettiest girl in the world but for totally different reasons.

I am married to a Chinese woman so I know a little about China. She only left China two years ago.
I imagine she knows a lot more about China than you ever will.

My wife still knows far more about China than you ever will.
You're an outsider with prejudices against the present government.

I'd love to know what your wife thinks of evil USA ... it must be murder for her to be able to see ...

She loves it in the USA and China too. Guilin is a beautiful and clean city.
She also gets social security in China. Since she owns her own condo back there it will be a piece of cake.
I guess you're one of those who needs an expensive car and big lawn and all that rot. Pity.
