Also don't forget the devastating war in Vietnam, Cambodia & Laos in the 60s and 70s.

Poor young girl got raped and get hurt several times.

  That's Indochina, unfortunately so.
There ain't no such thing as IDEOLOGY in the heart & soul of Colonialist-turned Capitalist Imperialism, other than chasing and following the self-interest of greed & extraction of great wealth.

Here's another Unresolved, Colonization Issue in Asia Pacific region.

Why is Australia, a vast bountiful Continent in Asia-Pacific, only a few hundred miles away from South-East Asia had no Asian and Pacific Islanders in that giant landmass originally, historically inhabiting when Anglo British, some 10,000 miles away England, sailed half the world away, invaded and looted in late 18th century?

This doesn't make sense, since Asian & Pacific Islanders originally and historically had been inhabiting and residing in Pacific region such as Guam, Tonga, New Zealand, Tahiti, Fiji and Hawaii.

Speaking of New Zealand, why did these same Anglo pirates, sailed half way around the world and looted in late 18th century?

Why didn't they occupy beautiful fertile Iceland, right above their jolly old England, and just a short distant away, with hardly any people there, even today?

Like I said, why did Anglo British loot New Zealand and Australia in Asia-Pacific region.

Moreover, they are exporting and selling all the bountiful natural resources, from our lost Continent in Asia-Pacific, back to Asia-Pacific countries!

     Satosan,

Not only Anglo British sailed half way around the world from their jolly old England, all the way to Asia Pacific, and Colonize giant resource-rich Continent, now called Australia, and forever green, fertile, heavenly islands of New Zealand; now, they are also claiming near by vast potentially resourceful Antartica Cotinent as well. How absurd!

Besides, like I read it somewhere, during Colonial era, Burma was called 'Rice Bowl' of Asia while Zimbabwe was called 'Bread Basket' of Africa; but who are the main beneficiaries of all these under Colonialism? The answer is "Colonial master Anglo clans". When some of these former Colonial nations turned away from them, Colonial master Anglo clans pulled the plug and blackout/blacklist against these poor former Colonial nations, since they still control enormous economy and military might on earth. Its all about my way or highway Anglo mentality. After these former Colonial nations turned to People's Republic/Socialism for a relief after enduring long and painful Colonialism, this Anglo family, namely Britain, USA, Canada, Australia & New Zealand, that had enjoyed and accumulated enormous amount of wealth during their centuries-long global Colonialism, went against some of these former colonies. It's all in the family, Anglo mentality!

By the way, they are the one family that practiced Slavery, Colonialism and Colonization worldwide. So, it's all in the family, after all.

By the way, Slavery, Colonialism and Colonization are evil things done by evildoers.

The Western powers such as Anglo British & French accumulated a great mountain of wealth since they are major practioners and benefiters of these global cardinal crimes for centuries.

While the good natured friendly, wonderful people of Indochina had endured and suffered for so very long while these same old lame old evildoer Colonizers are blacklisting their former Colonies to this day, which makes these countless millions innocent people's lives so unbelievably miserable.

  A real sad truth.

So, millions of Bangladeshi already poured inside Myanmar, NorthEastern India and Nepal.
So, millions of Bangladeshi already poured inside Myanmar, NorthEastern India and Nepal.
Would there be an end to it?

Bangladesh has becoming more and more like a population time bomb.

Speaking of which, think about the plight and continual struggle of long forgotten Native indigenous tribal people, such as Chakma, Marma, Tripura, from Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh. When British gave away once independence and autonomous North-East region, an ancestral homelands of indigenous Mongoloid Asiatic Native people, to India at India's independence in 1947, and after India gave away parts of those regions to Bangladesh at Bangladesh's Independence in 1971, those homeland regions of north eastern Bangladesh, came under frequent Muslim genocide, ethnic cleansing and land grab.

Here's quite a few unique things about Myanmar.

I am so  glad to read and learn some positive things about Myanmar, such as those 'quite a few unique things' that you have posted.

On the other, there is one negative thing which greatly tarnishes that nation's reputation, that no one like to talk about.

I'm talking about opium and heroine production there.

Do you know the hidden fact about opium in Myanmar?

Opium was introduced to Burma by the West in the early 1950, just like it was introduced to China by the West a century earlier.

Kuomintang Chinese Nationalist troops, (who were fighting against mainland China), and (backed and supported by the West) were stationed in North eastern Burma, in Shan State region, near China's border; and these Kuomintang were introduced to 'opium growing' as a way of 'self-support and survival'  after the West pulled out it's assistance and support amid mounting international pressure. The remnant Kuomintang forces, along with Shan State rebel army groups eventually picked up this lucrative opium growing and distribution business, and over time, Burma became one of the top opium and heroine producer in the world.

A sad truth.

A sad truth which causes consequences to this day.

Here is just one more example,
