the cheongsam is elegant
it is a siymbol of our civilized country ,i think .

Traditional Han clothing is dignified, exquisite and elegant, making a better symbol to represent China's long and ancient civilization.  The modern and westernized cheongsam, originally of Manchu origin, represents a sexualized image of Chinese women.

Frankly, traditional Japanese kimonos and Korean hanboks are today's favored symbols representing East Asian culture.

Very pretty, graceful and elegant.   Unfortunately other than restaurants and hotels and at receptions, we hardly see women wearing these dresses.  Hopefully it will come back in style.
if you can be happy with what you have, dont wait for more
