I agree. What you just said is only logical and its the truth.
Logic and truth don't matter to gun lovers though.
They have twisted minds. That's why there are so many gun murders in the USA.

1 dead, 6 wounded in South and West side shootings
By Peter Nickeas Tribune reporter

5:47 p.m. CDT, May 25, 2012

A man who died from his wounds was among seven people shot across the city's South and West sides Thursday night and Friday morning, according to Chicago Police.

Police responding to a shots fired call about 4:30 a.m. in the 600 block of East 88th Street in the Burnside neighborhood found a man lying on the ground with an apparent gunshot wound, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said. Additional details about the incident weren't available Friday afternoon.

The man was later identified as Varren Brown, 45, of the 400 block of East 88th Street, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.

Someone walked up to a 32-year-old man who was standing on the sidewalk in the 5100 block of West Kinzie Street in the South Austin neighborhood and started shooting, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition, despite suffering multiple gunshot wounds to the back and right leg. Area North detectives are investigating the shooting.

Two men, 21 and 24, were shot about 1:10 a.m. on the 6400 block of South Paulina Street in the West Englewood neighborhood, police said. They were standing on the sidewalk when someone inside a dark-colored van shot at them. The younger man was hit in the upper right thigh and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital and the other was shot in the foot and taken to Holy Cross Hospital in stable condition, police said.

A 36-year-old man was shot in the knee in the first shooting on the 7800 block of South Constance Avenue, Alfaro said. The man was standing on the street when three people walked up to him and one pulled out a weapon and shot him, Alfaro said. He was taken to Jackson Park Hospital with a gunshot wound to his right knee and is in stable condition, Alfaro said.

A 17-year-old was wounded in West Englewood about 10:50 p.m. He was on a sidewalk in the 6300 block of South Bishop Street when a male shot him from a nearby gangway, Alfaro said. The teen was hit in the right thigh and taken to Holy Cross Hospital in stable condition, Alfaro said.

About 40 minutes later, a 15-year-old boy was standing on the street with a group of males in the Gresham neighborhood when someone opened fire, police said. The boy suffered a graze wound to the head and was shot in the right foot, police said. He was taken from the 7600 block of South Peoria Street to Advocate Christ Medical Center in stable condition, Alfaro said.

Area South detectives are investigating the shootings and nobody is in custody.

Police: Suspected Seattle gunman shoots himself
By Pueng Vongs | The Lookout – 5 hrs ago

Police say a man suspected of multiple shootings in Seattle Wednesday, shot himself as officers closed in.

Officers believe the suspect was responsible for killing four people: three at a Seattle cafe, and one at a downtown
parking lot as part of a carjacking. He is listed in critical condition.

"Police were searching an area in Southwest Seattle when a plainclothes detective saw who he believed to be the
suspect," Seattle Police Assistant Chief James Pugel said at a news conference. He said once the suspect saw
officers surround him, the suspected gunman knelt down and shot himself in the head.

"We strongly believe this is the person who committed the homicides," Pugel said. The man's clothing and other items
he had on him also matched what witnesses saw on a suspect who shot a woman and drove off in her SUV.

"We feel confident that unfortunately these shootings are all connected," Pugel said.

Earlier, police released a photo from inside the cafe, showing a man believed to be the suspect  standing and holding
what appears to be a handgun.

KIRO-TV reports that the two men who survived the shooting at the cafe are in critical condition. The gunman left a
trail of victims: two men died at the cafe, and two other women died later at hospitals.  One of the men killed at the
cafe was described as a performance artist who was known as the "godfather of Café Racer." He and the other man killed
at the cafe, were members of a local band, God's Favorite Beefcake.

Before the shootings, someone reported that a man was making suicidal threats, according to the Seattle Post
Intelligencer. Officers aren't sure yet if it has any connection to the shootings.

Schools in the area were put on lockdown for most of the day as officers went door-to-door within a 10-block radius
of the café searching for the suspect.

The Seattle PI notes that Seattle has seen an unusual spike in homicides, 15 through Friday, compared to 20 total in
each of the previous two years.

China is safer than any given western country. at least you dont have to worry about getting jumped by some teenage hooligans. alot of overseas Chinese are afraid to go to school for fear of being attacked at school in the west. i even heard one story where a Chinese kid was walking home from school in some western country. a van pulls up, pulls him in. brings him to some deserted area, beat the crap out of him, and drove off. i also heard of numerous stories of westerners ordering Chinese food, and then ambushing the deliver man, robbing him, taking the food, and beating him to

These are not nearly as common as murders caused by hand guns or even accidental self inflicted wounds.
You have to dig a lot deeper to pull one of these little hero stories out of the news bag.
But I'm sure they make you beam with pride.
