In late 2011, the International Atomic Energy Agency
issued a report stating that Iran has started enriching
In late January, 27 ministers of the European Union
unanimously adopted a package of sanctions, including
an oil embargo was listed. Now European companies
have no right to enter into a contract with the Iranian
80% of foreign exchange earnings in Iran - from oil
exports, which produces one-fifth of the EU.
However, the main importers of Iran - the countries of
Asia, which, in turn, does not plan to reduce the supply
of Iranian oil. Possible reductions in the supply
threatened to Japan only.
Earlier, Tehran has threatened in the event of such
sanctions to close the Strait of Hormuz - a major oil
artery in the world.
Around Iran's growing political and economic tensions:
the Strait of Hormuz to shrink the naval forces of the USA
and the UK, Iran holds defiant missile launch in the Persian
Gulf and oil prices meanwhile are starting to grow.
Can anyone tell us if there are Pipelines from Iran into India
and China? If not, and Iran is forced to use the Gulf, Its
beginning to smell.
