...the 19th passerby dragged her to a safe place.

The incident was recorded by surveillance video cameras. It took place somewhere in Canton.

One claim was made in this forum that Chinese are the most evil --- yes, at lease a number of them are. It's more pertinent to say that Chinese are just stone-hearted -- again, at least some are.

The pictures and the video are all over the Chinese websites. Anyone who cares about the girl or just the incident itself could find for themselves.

I'm surprised some on this board didn't know about it.

The video became viral on some Chinese websites. It is the most talked about topic on Sina Weibo. The story was reported on Singapore news channel, CNN...etc.

The incident took place in Foshan, Guangdong Province. A CCTV footage shows the two-year-old Wang Yue toddling to the middle of the narrow, market street when she was ran over by a white van. The driver briefly stops with the girl undernearth the van. He then continues to drive on with its rear tires slowly rolling over her small body. The girl is left barely moving in her own blood as several pedestrians and cyclists pass by. Then, another small truck ran over her again. More passers-by walked, cycled or drove around her motionless body without stopping. Everybody just looked on and then ignore it. Finally, one woman quickly drag her to safety and calls for help. The little girl was seen moving her hand when the woman stood by her side.

Wang Yue, remained in critical condition in a military hospital near Guangzhou.
