My daughter moved two feline's into our home,|
One is now about a year old, the other is still just a few months of age.
The older cat, a female, is half Singaporean breed mixed with an American short-hair -- she has interesting mottled black fur and two big white bushy tufts of hair where one would expect eyebrows, perhaps.
Very different personalities between these two, the little guy is fully intense, busy every waking moment, the older female is laid back and prefers to lounge, explore and chill out.
They both will test their fate in the unknowns of the forest outside, a big coyote and a pair of foxes await them.
The female got quite adventurous one time, got lost and probably run up a tree or two a few times, she was gone for three weeks, finally returning, limping, disheveled, smelling of the woods , tired and hungry. But none the less shaken for the experience.
Well, he black bears, like the crows, make three appearances during the day, the first is at the crack of dawn. This morning, our two year-old female black bear arrived and settled down for some breakfast, plopping herself down to eat. Somehow, the female cat had snuck out between someones feet and a little while ago I just peeked out at the bear and sitting right above her by only a few feet, up on the porch, was the black female cat, laying down and enjoying the breakfast moment with the black bear,
