Yemen protests: Thousands call on president to leave

Thousands of Yemenis are demonstrating in the capital Sanaa, calling on Ali Abdullah Saleh, president for more than 30 years, to step down

This comes after mass protests in Egypt and a popular uprising in Tunisia that ousted its long-time leader.

As protests swell from Yemen to Egypt, Middle East faces uncertainty

A wave of political unrest threatening Middle Eastern governments grew ominously larger
Thursday as new protests shook impoverished Yemen and Egyptian authorities braced for
massive anti-government demonstrations set to begin Friday.

The fresh turbulence deepened fears of a prolonged period of chaos and uncertainty in the
region while raising new questions about the viability of autocratic governments that have
been stalwart allies of the United States for more than a generation.

Our IsIamist friends in this forum seem confused -

like chickens with their heads chopped off running around without orientation -

they do not know anymore how to cope with those Middle East uprisings -

Somehow it does not fit into their agenda, that the evil West is all but for "eople Power" and against tyranny !

The "eople" of the Middle East are calling for the help of Western nations -

Not for the help of Iran, Al Qaeda, not even for the help of China and Russia !

Surprised ?
