A latest poll of 24,000 people in 23 countries shows that China has become the No.1 money worshipping country. But will it be a good trend for social development or moral decay of economic growth? I am deeply impressed by what Ma Nuo, the material girl said in the You are the only one "I would rather cry in BMW than smile on the bike".

Yes, I think that this poll indicates the true figure. Most Chinese folks I know place accumulation of money/assets at the top of their "to do" list.

Wouldn't be much different for the British Club, Mr. Kiwi.

Afterall, the British learnt a lot from the Roman, and Chinese civilization!
Isn't the British Club the ultimate money masters in our contemporary world!

Not really in as much that we, while always trying to make more cash, don't worship it and spend far more time and energy being happy.

Have you tried to count a stack of S$ 100 bills, and then put the stack into your pocket!
It's the most exciting experience experience ever!

That happen to me when we bought our very first Singapore Condominium back in the 1980's!
I was a student then, and i was cashing a few tens of thousand dollars to pay for the deposit on the apartment!
Boy! I was barely 20 - it was such a high experience!
