One thing that is true about N. Korea and S. Korea and even Japan is that in all these so called incidents, the outcome seems to favour the Americans. In 1987 Flight KAL 858 disappeared and NK was stated as the perpetrator. This was at a time one month before elections and the pro-unity party was in the lead from the candidate presented from the military side. After this incident the pro-American party won.

In Japan this year the President who was elected on a platform of closing Okinawa was found to have been involved in fraud and ousted. Meanwhile in Japan the Cheonan incident caused the Japanese to up their military budget and also US involvement.

This latest incident where the South and the US are provoking the North by playing their games on the North’s border (when there is little need) and hey presto S. Korea have just upped their military budget and purchased several billion dollars more in military equipment.

The west instead of vilifying little Kimmy should thank him for all those jobs and dollars he is creating for them.

As for war, I doubt it, little Kimmy is a gold-mine and it would probably be a stalemate between N and S Korea and even if one side was winning their Big Uncle would probably get involved and force it back to a stalemate.

Just like 1953 ………

A forgotten war with a lot of body bags and a chance to  still more hardware ……….

Hey ...............

We should run a book on this and take bets ..........

I say 'no war' as N. Korea makes the Yanks too much money already  .....

In addition like last time they could probably not win it ........

Sure they might at the most take out a few installations from the air or sea  ........

But a ground war no ...........

Others suggest it is imminent and an easy push-over ............

Odds anyone  .............

I also say "no war", but not because of "money" but because of the results of such a war.Nobody wants that....NK having "da bomb",a Korean peninsula in ashes, millions of refugees...neither China,Russia or the Us have an interest in that.

Well ..............

It looks as if all the huffing and puffing has subsided .........

America got its new sales ............

Kimmy got his air time ..........

Korea is a tragedy of stupidity found in leaders throughout the last century .....
