If you refer Singaporean a 'Chinese', they get real angry!
Though most are fluent in Mandarin or Hokkein,they still prefer to converse only in English, even though they speak the  ...



I disagree with your incorrect comment Kbay!

My wife is a Singaporean.
She and her family are all very proud of their Chinese ancestory.
We speak Mandarin, Cantonese and Hokkein at home.

English is used for the office and work only.
